Any fans of The Office would naturally assume this would be a line spoken by the loveable character Jim Halpert, and not by the real life nice guy John Krasinski. But John is full of quotable lines when it comes to how he feels about his beautiful British bride, Emily Blunt.
Emily’s friend, Anne Hathaway, introduced the two in 2008 and each claim it was love at first sight. They had a chemistry and a connection that neither had experienced before.
Krasinski was born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1979 and while a senior in high school, performed in a school play written and directed by future Office writer and co-star, B.J. Novak. From there, he went to Brown University, studying theatre arts and graduating in 2001 as a playwright with honors. Besides training at the National Theater Institute, he also studied at The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and The Actors Center in New York City. After graduating from Brown University, Krasinski went to New York City to pursue acting, appearing in commercials and guest spots on television shows, as well as doing readings of off-Broadway plays while working as a waiter. He then moved to Los Angeles when he was offered an internship on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2000. His small appearances on the show lead to some additional exposure that eventually would launch the beginning of his film and television career.
His big break would come on the American spin-off of the popular British show The Office. The series would run in America for nine seasons and would win six Emmys. America was now in love with Krasinski.
Emily Blunt was born on February 23, 1983, in Roehampton, South West London, England. She received a rigorous education atIbstockPlaceSchool, a co-ed private school at Roehampton. However, young Emily had had a stammer since she was 8. Her mother took her to relaxation classes, which did nothing for her embarrassing condition. She reached a turning point at 12, when a teacher cleverly asked her to play a character with a different voice and said, “I really believe in you.” Blunt ended up using a northern accent, and it did the trick, her stammer disappeared.
In August 2000, she was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Festival. She was signed up by an agent, which led her to the West End and the BBC, scoring roles in several period dramas on stage as well as on TV productions. In 2001, she appeared as “Gwen Cavendish” opposite Dame Judi Dench in Sir Peter Hall’s production of “The Royal Family” at Haymarket Theatre. For that role, she won the Evening Standard Award for Best Newcomer. In 2002, she played “Juliet” in “Romeo and Juliet” at the prestigious Chichester Festival.
Blunt made her screen debut in the British television drama Boudica and from there didn’t slow down a bit. In the next ten years she would go on to work on over 20 films, with co-stars ranging from Anthony Hopkins to Matt Damon to Meryl Streep.
Her love life seemed perfect when she moved into a house with superstar crooner Michael Buble. The two stayed together for three years but split due to a “lack of maturity” and “making silly mistakes.” Buble would need therapy to get through the break-up while Blunt just needed to find a nice guy.
John and Emily married in 2010 and announced in 2013 that they were pregnant with their first child. They currently live in Los Angeles and commute to NYC and Massachusetts whenever they get the chance.

Future projects for both include Blunt playing The Baker’s Wife in the film version of Into The Woods and Krasinski lending his voice for the animated feature, The Prophet —inspired by the classic book by Kahlil Gibran.
